- 4 beef cube steaks
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 2 cups beef broth or chicken broth for chicken cube steak
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Season the cube steaks
Sprinkle both sides of the cube steaks with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently pat the seasoning onto the meat to help it stick.
Prepare the gravy
In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions until softened. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Add the cream of mushroom soup and stir until smooth.
