This Chocolate Covered Oreo Balls Recipe Is an Easy Crowd-Pleaser
These chocolate covered Oreo balls are a rich, no-bake dessert made with just three ingredients. Perfect for holidays and parties, they’re quick to prepare, endlessly customizable, and always a crowd favorite. Try decorating them with sprinkles, Oreo crumbs, or white chocolate for an irresistible treat!
Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can put them in a sealed plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth (about 1 minute). Add the Oreo crumbs and mix until fully combined. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Freeze the balls for 15 minutes to firm up.
In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the chocolate and white chocolate wafers according to the package instructions. Stir until smooth.
Remove the Oreo balls from the freezer and dip them one at a time into the melted chocolate. Use a fork to lift each ball, letting the excess chocolate drip off. Place the dipped balls back onto the lined baking sheet.
While the chocolate is still wet, decorate the balls with your choice of toppings, like a drizzle of chocolate, sprinkles, or crushed Oreos.
Place the tray of Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the chocolate harden. Serve them chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For the best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing, and use high-quality melting wafers for smooth, even coverage.
