This easy white chocolate chip cookie recipe yields soft and chewy cookies with the perfect balance of buttery flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Perfect for any occasion, these homemade cookies are quick to make and completely irresistible!
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 360°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Beat the butter and sugars: Combine the butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy. Add the brown sugar and continue mixing until well-combined.
Add the wet ingredients: Mix in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
Incorporate the dry ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Stir in most of the white chocolate chips, reserving a handful for topping.
Scoop the dough: Use a 2-tablespoon-size cookie scoop to portion out the dough and place it on the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 3 inches of space between each cookie.
Bake: Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. If you want extra chips on top, bake for 8 minutes, then add the reserved chips and bake for another 2–3 minutes.
Notes
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
