Ingredients
2
8 ounce
skinless, boneless chicken breasts
½
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
ground black pepper
¼
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
8 ounce
package reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)
1
8 ounce
container sour cream
½
cup
Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s® Red Hot)
½
cup
shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, ensuring they're evenly coated.
Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker and cover it with a lid.
Cook on Low until the chicken is cooked through and tender, about 3 hours. Drain any accumulated juices from the slow cooker.
Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using a hand mixer for the quickest results, or use two forks if you prefer.
Add the cream cheese, sour cream, Buffalo wing sauce, and shredded Cheddar cheese to the slow cooker. Stir everything together until well combined.
Cook on Low for 1 additional hour, stirring occasionally to ensure the dip is evenly creamy.
Once warmed through and melty, give the dip a final stir and serve straight from the slow cooker on the warm setting.
