Ingredients

  • 2 8 ounce skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 8 ounce package reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)
  • 1 8 ounce container sour cream
  • ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s® Red Hot)
  • ½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, ensuring they're evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker and cover it with a lid.
  • Cook on Low until the chicken is cooked through and tender, about 3 hours. Drain any accumulated juices from the slow cooker.
  • Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using a hand mixer for the quickest results, or use two forks if you prefer.
  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, Buffalo wing sauce, and shredded Cheddar cheese to the slow cooker. Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Cook on Low for 1 additional hour, stirring occasionally to ensure the dip is evenly creamy.
  • Once warmed through and melty, give the dip a final stir and serve straight from the slow cooker on the warm setting.
