- 3 cups whole milk or substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free version
- 1 cup heavy cream for that extra creamy texture
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree make sure it’s 100% pumpkin—not pumpkin pie filling
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract adds warmth and depth
- Whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice for topping optional but recommended!
Step 1: Heat the milk and cream
In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is warm but not boiling. If you’re using a slow cooker, add the milk and cream to the pot and set it to low.
Step 2: Melt the white chocolate
Step 3: Add pumpkin and spice
Stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Keep stirring until everything is well combined and heated through.
At this point, your kitchen will smell absolutely amazing! If you’re using a slow cooker, let the mixture cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
