Ingredients
  

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup sweet pickle relish
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
  • to taste Ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes, or until tender but still firm. Drain and let them cool.
  • Peel and chop the cooled potatoes into bite-sized chunks.
  • While the potatoes are cooking, place the eggs in a saucepan, cover them with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let them sit in the hot water for 10-12 minutes. Cool and peel the eggs, then chop them into chunks.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, eggs, celery, onion, relish, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic salt, celery salt, and ground black pepper.
  • Mix gently until all ingredients are fully combined and coated with the creamy dressing.
  • Cover and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor.
