1/4tspnutmeg
Pinch of salt
3tbspchocolate chipsoptional
1tbspraw cane sugar + 1/2 tsp cinnamonto roll (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the banana mixture: In a large mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Add the nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then stir until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients: Mix in the almond flour, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and (if desired) chocolate chips. Stir until the ingredients form a dough. If the dough feels too wet, add a little more almond flour or protein powder.
Roll into balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls with your hands. For an extra touch, roll each ball in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Chill and enjoy: Place the balls on a plate or in a container and refrigerate for at least one hour to let them set. Store in the fridge or enjoy right away!
Notes
For nut-free bites, replace almond flour with oat flour and use sunflower seed butter instead of nut butter. Chill sticky dough for 10-15 minutes before rolling, if needed.
