Ingredients

  • 8 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles, broken into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) pasta sauce with meat

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until creamy.
  • Stir the cooked noodles into the cheese mixture, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  • Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish and spread 1 cup of pasta sauce across the bottom.
  • Layer half of the noodle mixture over the sauce, top with 1 cup of sauce, and repeat with the remaining noodles and sauce.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top for that perfect cheesy crust.
  • Cover the dish with greased foil and bake for 10–15 minutes, until heated through and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!

Pro tip: Grate your own Parmesan for an added depth of flavor—it’s worth the extra step!
