- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 ½ tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
- ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
- 4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
- 4 (4-ounce) salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth. Set this aside.
In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, chopped pecans, and fresh parsley. This will be your flavorful crust.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops and sides lightly with the honey mustard mixture.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over each fillet, pressing it down gently to adhere.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a bright, zesty finish.
