Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
  • 4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 (4-ounce) salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth. Set this aside.
  • In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, chopped pecans, and fresh parsley. This will be your flavorful crust.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops and sides lightly with the honey mustard mixture.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over each fillet, pressing it down gently to adhere.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a bright, zesty finish.
